Do you feel like you have an eye for photography, but the photographs you take never turn out the way you intended?

Presented by an award-winning photojournalist, this workshop is for entry-level photographers who feel overwhelmed when they hear the words aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We’ll decode these camera settings and learn tricks to quickly get you off auto and into the driving seat.

This course is for for the amateur who wants to take high quality photos of their families and interests (birdwatching? race car driving?) and for aspiring professionals taking their first steps in the photography world. Through visual examples, practical work and discussion we will learn how to easily incorporate basic photographic principles into your own photography and make them second nature.

Please bring in your questions, camera equipment (camera hire is available in store) and download a free light meter app (i.e. Pocket Light Meter, Lux or Light Meter Tools).
