The overriding emphasis on this award winning one day course, will be how to make photographs, rather than simply take them!
Shooting on fully automatic 'modes' is very restrictive in terms of the creative results you can achieve. Taking creative control of aperture and shutter speed is absolutely fundamental if you wish to improve your photography. These essential skills, amongst others, are clearly explained in an easy to understand, straightforward manner.
Throughout the day we will illustrate all of the techniques taught, by looking at some superb photographs - many taken by former students of this workshop.
In the afternoon, you will be shooting a challenging photo project, which will be reviewed and critiqued - an ideal way to put your new skills into practice.
Course ideal For:
You may just be starting out with your camera and would like to get a clearer understanding of your camera controls.
Perhaps you have decided it is time to leave the automatic 'point and shoot ' modes behind and unleash the creative potential of your camera.
Or you may have some understanding of technique but need to brush up on your knowledge and rekindle your passion for photography.
This intensive and comprehensive one day workshop will transform the quality of your photographs.
A complete set of handouts will be included.
